Lesson 1.2: About Big Cat Rescue

Comments Off on Lesson 1.2: About Big Cat Rescue

We’re one of the world’s largest accredited sanctuaries for exotic cats, and a leading advocate for ending the abuse of captive big cats and saving wild cats from extinction. We are home to lions, tigers, bobcats, cougars, servals, caracals, jaguar and other species most of whom have been abandoned, abused, orphaned, saved, injured, or retired from performing acts.

This short video (0:30) gives a brief overview of our rescue.

Our sanctuary is made up of 67 acres, and we’re located in the Citrus Park area of north Tampa. We’re wild about big cats, and we work hard to ensure they have the highest quality of care while they’re staying with us. We are also dedicated to providing education on big cats, animal conservation efforts, and habitation preservation.
